The Fall, Chris O'Dowd and Gogglebox: Is your favourite telly up for a BAFTA?

The nominations for the TV BAFTAs are out, and we’ve got them in here.

GRITTY NORTHERN IRISH drama The Fall swept the boards at the IFTAs last weekend, but will it do it again at the British Academy Television Awards?

Jamie Dornan, who took the Best TV Actor and Rising Star awards at Saturday’s ceremony, is up for best Leading Actor for his role as serial killer Paul Spector in the BBC series.

The Fall has also been nominated for best Mini-Series, battling against The Great Train Robbery, In The Flesh and Southcliffe for the title.

Chris O’Dowd has received a best Male Performance in a Comedy Programme nomination (alongside his co-star Richard Ayoade) for The IT Crowd, which garnered four nominations in total.

Also representing Ireland is the ever-reliable Graham Norton, who’s up for best Entertainment Performance and best Comedy Entertainment Programme.

Elsewhere, there are nominations for Broadchurch, The Great British Bake Off, Gogglebox (!) and Ripper Street.
